Riding crops have medium amount of surface area spread across leather or pleather coated tips, making them a good intermediate impact play device. Their design makes them a little more low impact than a whip, but a little more impactful than a paddle. Mini crops with shorter handles or those with wider tips are good for a lighter touch. Narrow tips and steel handles make for more impact.
